Madhya Pradesh got its first Vistadome coach with the introduction of a Vistadome coach on the Jan Shatabdi Express on the Bhopal-Jabalpur route, railway officials said. State Minister Usha Thakur and Vishwa Sarang flag off the train from Bhopal's Kamalapati railway station.
Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Principal Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, said that with this coach, tourists can enjoy the scenery of mountains, rivers and nature between the two cities. Indian Railways launched the coach on the initiative of Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board. Vista-dome coaches have large windows and transparent roofs that allow passengers to enjoy the surroundings.
